Campus

The FCA Campus Ministry is the ministry program to see campuses impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.

Since 1966, the FCA Ministry has been present on campuses across the country.  Campus Ministry is done in small groups called Huddles.  They are initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school, and college campuses.  The purpose of Campus Ministry, through various types, has been to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and to seek to grow and mature followers of Jesus Christ.

WHAT  is a Huddle?

A Huddle is a certified small group bible study/devotion for coaches and athletes that encourages and challenges team members to live and compete according to biblical principles.  There are three kinds of Huddles: Team, Multi-Sport, and Coaches.  A team Huddle is a targeted bible study (weekly devotion, team chapel) within a unique individual team setting.  A multi-sport Huddle is a small group bible study for athletes from multiple sports teams.  A coaches Huddle is a small group bible study for coaches that coach teams at all levels on campus and in community club/travel sports.

WHERE  do Huddles meet?

The best answer to this question is “Wherever works best for your team.”  Team Huddles can meet in a variety of locations: practice facilities, fields, locker rooms, churches, and homes. Ultimately, this is determined by what works best for the team.

WHEN  do Huddles meet?

The best answer to this question is “Whenever works best for your team.”  Some huddles meet in the morning, some in the evening.  Before practice.  After practice.  Midday.  Again, this is determined by what works best for the team.
